New TONY IOMMI/GLENN HUGHES Audio Interview Posted Online

June 4, 2005

Last month, Dutch music site Toazted.com interviewed BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi and ex-DEEP PURPLE/BLACK SABBATH vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes on their European promotional trip in support of Iommi's upcoming solo album, "Fused".

Clocking in at just under 25 minutes, the interview includes talk about "Fused", tour plans, Iommi's and Hughes' longtime friendship, BLACK SABBATH, DEEP PURPLE, Ozzfest, "The Osbournes", Hughes' recently released solo album, "Soul Mover", as well as their collaborative writing and recording style. Listen to the interview at this location.

Iommi's third solo album, "Fused" is scheduled for release on July 12 via Sanctuary Records.

Joining the BLACK SABBATH guitarist on "Fused" is Hughes and former JOHN MELLENCAMP drummer Kenny Aronoff, who has also played sessions with the likes of THE ROLLING STONES, BOB DYLAN, ROD STEWART, ALICE COOPER, BOB SEGER, LYNYRD SKYNYRD and countless others.

BLACK SABBATH have been confirmed as the headliners of this year's Ozzfest beginning on July 15 in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
